Abstract
The procedure is aimed at children at the end of the 4th or beginning of the 5th grade. It can be used as a group test as well as an individual diagnostic test. The GET 4+ can be used to determine the level of performance in relation to sizes and units of measurement. The test is used to derive support priorities and to check the effectiveness of support measures. Another area of application is quality assurance in the classroom. The test should be administered by an appropriately trained specialist.
Description
With a total of 48 items, the GET 4+ measures abilities and skills related to quantities and units of measurement, as they are also mapped in curricula. One focus is on internalized ideas about quantities (supporting points).

The test consists of a total of 6 scales related to relevant quantities: Length (9 items), Time (8 items), Money (8 items), Mass (9 items), Area (9 items), and Space (5 items). Each scale (size) can be worked independently of the others. This allows the use of the GET also for screenings related to single quantities. The sum of the scales gives the GET total score.
Norms are available for all raw scores in the form of critical values, percentile ranks and T-values. From this, a structural profile can be created, which allows statements to be made about the developmental status of performance in relation to variables.
