The target group for the process is employees who are ready for change and interested in leadership and management functions, junior managers and executives aged 20 and over who are applying for positions at the target levels of team/group management, department management, staff unit management or project management, as well as applicants for trainee programs. 
Description
In the "OfficeMail" mailbox, participants take on the role of a manager in the property insurance area in a fictitious insurance company from Germany. The process is designed as an e-mail system. The e-mails concern prototypical job-related as well as private content from the correspondence of an executive at the lower to middle hierarchy level, such as meeting minutes, monitoring of key figures, filling a vacant position, invitation to a lecture. 78 items, spread over 19 e-mails (some with attachments), are to be completed according to the multiple-choice method by clicking with the mouse on the computer or by ticking in the test booklet. The items provide possible courses of action for dealing with the information contained in the e-mails. The procedure can be evaluated according to a primary overall scale ("Complex problem-solving behavior") and three secondary scales ("Analytical behavior", "Organizational and planning behavior", "Decision-making behavior").
