Description
The BYI-2 includes five self-report scales that can be used either individually or in combination to assess the potential burdens ofdepression (BDI-Y), anxiety (BAI-Y), anger (BANI-Y), disruptive behavior (BDBI-Y), and self-concept (BSCI-Y).
Each questionnaire includes 20 statements about thoughts, feelings, or behaviors associated with affective and social limitations in children and adolescents. The statements are written at a second grade reading level, making them easy to understand. For each scale, a child or adolescent describes how often (including today) each statement is true; for the anxiety and depression scales, relative to the past two weeks.
