This grammar comprehension test examines understanding of the grammatical structures of German marked by inflection, function words, and sentence order. Understanding of the morphological-syntactic structures significant to German can be examined and assessed qualitatively and quantitatively.
Description
In logopedic/language therapy practice, there are many clients who are suspected of having an impairment in language comprehension. The TROG-D test for testing grammar comprehension is the first standardized material available that can be used to examine and assess both quantitatively and qualitatively the comprehension of morphological-syntactic structures that are significant for German. The diagnostic procedure has been standardized for children aged 3.0-10.11 but can also be used in the diagnosis of adults who have, for example, aphasia or a hearing disorder.
