Abstract
Children from 3;0 to 5;11 years. The IDS-P are suitable for the entire spectrum of performance and development diagnostics, for kindergarten and school entry diagnostics, and for clinical questions. 
Description
The IDS-P measures five functional areas with a total of 15 subtests:

Cognition (7 subtests)
Psychomotor skills (3 subtests)
Social-Emotional Competence (1 subtest)
Logical-Mathematical Reasoning (1 subtest)
Language (3 subtests)

Area-specific strengths and weaknesses of the child can be related to the individual development profile as well as to that of the age group. In the evaluation, a distinction is made between cognitive and general developmental levels. An intelligence score can be calculated.

The IDS-P also provide:

qualitative information on how the child deals with the test situation (3 subtests)
flexible and individually adapted testing thanks to modular test structure
predominantly language-free intelligence assessment
assessment of linguistic competencies
assessment of logical-mathematical competencies
assessment of social-emotional competencies
attractive test material for varied and playful task processing
user-friendly evaluation program
